Alright. Desperately needs a place to shoot prone and kneeling. Bench only is very stale to say the least. Also closer than 25 yards for hand guns would be a nice touch.
Love this place , just wish they had a 75 yard range and beyond 200 yard range . I've been going here for over a decade. Also wished that the target boards were covered. If you're planning on going shooting in the afternoon you'll find it very difficult to see your target especially if you're using a scope. Over all it's a nice place and you'll quickly meet new friends that share your passion for shooting.
But, for a public range it's okay.
Great well maintained outdoor range. 25, 50, 100, and 200 yard lanes. The only thing that would make this place better is a 5-10 yard lane for handguns. You can shoot handguns in any lane and many people do at the 25yd lane but shorter distance would be preferable.
Could be 4 to 5 star with another 25 yard or less spot for pistols. Also later hours would be very helpful for working people especially in the summertime when darkness falls at 8 PM or later.
Good, out door shooting range. The DNR officer on duty was helpful in answering my questions. The 25 yard range that I shot at was okay, but wished that it had dividers between tables to prevent expended brass from flying around under the shelter. Other than that, bring your own paper targets and stapler.
Also where are the shotgun facilities that I've been told about but cannot find and cannot even see any signs directing me there. There was no mention and no indication on the maps or text on this website of said shotgun shooting area⁉️‼️
